Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures advanced while grain futures finished mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery rose 1/4 cent to $3.11 a bushel; May corn rose 1/2 cent to $2.11 1/4 a bushel; May oats fell 2 1/2 cents to $1.53 1/2 a bushel; May soybeans rose 7 cents to $6.37 3/4 a bushel. Pork futures declined while beef futures finished mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. May live cattle remained unchanged at 85.20 cents a pound; May feeder cattle fell .47 cent to $1.066 a pound; May lean hogs fell .28 cent to 75.27 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell 1.80 cent to 83.45 cents a pound.
