Soybean futures retreated while grain futures finished mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery fell 1 1/2 cent to $3.09 a bushel; May corn rose 1 3/4 cent to $2.07 1/2 a bushel; May oats fell 1 1/4 cent to $1.56 3/4 a bushel; May soybeans fell 6 1/4 cents to $6.17 a bushel. Beef futures moved mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Pork futures decreased. May live cattle remained unchanged at 85.20 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose .45 cent to $1.0625 a pound; May lean hogs fell .27 cent to 75.35 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell 2.38 cents to 85.87 cents a pound.
