Mildred Almond Gilbreth, Lawrence

ices for Mildred Almond Gilbreth, 93, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.

Mrs. Gilbreth died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at Midland Hospice in Topeka.

She was born Oct. 31, 1911, in Meg, Ark., the daughter of Alvin Marshall and Lizzie Mae Price Almond.

Mrs. Gilbreth was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church in Lawrence and Eudora. She was also a member of the Women’s Missionary Council.

She married L.L. Gilbreth in October 1932, in Webb City, Ark. He died Aug. 9, 1998.

Survivors include a son, Lee Gilbreth Jr., Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Betty Jean Lewis, Lawrence; a sister, Imojene Reynolds, Elk City, Okla.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary before the service.

The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice of Topeka, sent in care of the mortuary.
