Kansas squads in action today

Three Kansas University sports teams will be in competition today.

KU’s tennis team will be trying to snap a four-match losing streak when it plays host to Kansas State at 2 p.m. at Robinson Courts.

Meanwhile, the Jayhawks’ baseball and softball teams will be on the road.

Coach Ritch Price’s baseball team will travel to the Air Capital to meet Wichita State. Game time is 7 p.m. at Eck Stadium.

Tonight’s contest will be the second of four meetings with the Shockers this season. KU won the first game, 13-6, a week ago today at Hoglund Ballpark. The other games are scheduled a week from today at Hoglund and May 4 at WSU.

Coach Tracy Bunge’s softball team will travel to Columbia, Mo., for a 6 p.m. clash with Missouri. The Jayhawks are coming off their first Big 12 Conference win, a 3-1 decision Sunday at Oklahoma State.
