Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures advanced Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 3 cents to $3.14 1/4 a bushel; May corn rose 1 3/4 cent to $2.07 1/4 a bushel; May oats rose 1 1/2 cent to $1.54 1/2 a bushel; May soybeans rose 5 3/4 cents to $6.23 1/4 a bushel.

Pork futures declined while beef futures finished mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

May live cattle remained unchanged at 85.20 cents a pound; May feeder cattle fell 1.60 cent to $1.0407 a pound; May lean hogs fell 1.72 cent to 74.50 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell 1.30 cent to 92.10 cents a pound.
