Arnold ‘Bud’ Bregman, New Port Richey

Mr. Bregman died Thursday, March 31, 2005, in New Port Richey, from heart failure.

He was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the son of Reuben and Jean Black Bregman. He attended Maury High School in Norfolk, Va.

Mr. Bregman served in the U.S. Army Air Corps Eighth Air Force from 1941 to 1946. He was a salesman of shoes and leather. He was a former president of Magnolia Valley Civic Assn.

He married Harriet Cogen on Sept. 1, 1946, in Norfolk, Va. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Marty, Lawrence, Kan., and Larry, Cambridge, Mass.; a brother, Herb, Virginia Beach, Va.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. Sunday, and Monday and Tuesday at the home.
