Not much plan
To the editor:
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said in an interview with The Washington Post last week that the Middle East status quo was not stable and she doubted it would be stable soon. Washington would speak out for “freedom” without offering a model or knowing what the outcome would be.
Now there’s a well-planned policy that should scare everyone. So, let’s just yell, “Freedom!” and duck. What the heck — we really don’t care what the result might be. Makes the Wolfowitz plan for Iraq look good.
