A bridge that will be replaced about three-quarters of a mile south of Douglas County Road 458 will be 40 feet wide to allow for two 12-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders on each side of the bridge. Two curves south of the bridge also will be widened to allow for two 12-foot lanes with 8-foot shoulders on each side of the road.
An article in Thursday’s Journal World misstated how wide the roads and bridge would be made through a county project.
