Marissa J. Massey

? Services for Marissa J. Massey, 22, Leavenworth, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery in Perry.

Mrs. Massey died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., from injuries she received in an automobile accident.

She was born May 31, 1982, in Winchester, the daughter of Terry Hattemer and Wilma Higgins Drinkard. She had attended nursing classes.

Mrs. Massey attended St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry, and Country Side Baptist Church in Oskaloosa. She was an organ donor.

She married Bradley A. Massey on April 21, 2001, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Allen Massey, Zachary Massey and Keith Massey, all of the home; her father and stepmother, Terry and Deanna Hattemer, Oskaloosa; her mother and stepfather, Wilma and Charles Drinkard, Atchison; a sister, Hollie Lansing, Platte City, Mo.; four brothers, Jordan Thornton and Jeremy Hattemer, both of Lawrence, Alex Hattemer and Travis Hattemer, both of Oskaloosa; and a grandmother, Mickey Rockhold, Winchester.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.

The family suggests memorials to the Massey Children Education Fund, sent in care of the funeral chapel, 500 Oak St., Leavenworth 66048.
