Manhattan Seabury Academy's varsity soccer team fell to Flint Hills Christian, 2-1, on Friday.
Gary Gardner scored 30 minutes into the first half to give Seabury (4-5) the early lead. However, the Warriors scored off a deflection and on a penalty kick with four minutes left to nab the victory.
Myn Kyu Lee was cited for strong play at right midfield for Seabury.
"We dominated play. We kept the pressure on with 14 shots to their four, but weren't finishing well," Seabury coach Brian Clyne said. "They had two strange opportunities. The deflection went off the shoulder of the guy guarding the post. It was a strange game, a tough game to lose."
The Seahawks will travel Tuesday to Kansas City (Kan.) Sumner.
