Meadowlark 4-H Club met Sept. 14 at Pendleton’s Farm. Kay Miller, club leader, presided. Karen Pendleton was secretary. Members answered roll call by naming where they were on 9-11.

Members were reminded of the following activities:

  • County Achievement Celebration will be Nov. 7 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.
  • The club will have a window display for National 4-H Week, which is Oct. 3-9.

Ballots were distributed asking members what office they were interested in. The club discussed having a booth at a project fair on Sunday.

Hana Bozack talked about Sight Night, a community service for the Lions Club.

The next meeting will be Oct. 12 at the fairgrounds. Election of officers will be conducted. The club will have pizza and celebrate its achievements. Members will make tray favors for the Meals on Wheels program at 6:30 p.m. before the meeting.
