Gaylene J. Mitchell Moenning

Ottawa ? Services for Gaylene J. Mitchell Moenning, 38, Ottawa, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery near Pomona.

Mrs. Moenning died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at University of Kansas Hospital.

She was born Feb. 9, 1966, the daughter of Gale and Pam Burgoon Mitchell. She grew up in the Ottawa area and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1984.

Mrs. Moenning was a member of Franklin County Independent Bikers.

She married Kevin D. Oakes in August 1985. They separated.

Survivors include her parents, Pam Mitchell and Gale and Judy Mitchell; two sons, Brandon Oakes and Levi Oakes; a daughter, Abbigayle Oakes; a stepdaughter, Ashley Funk; a stepson, Little Den Moenning; a sister, Melissa Oshel; a brother, Dustin Mitchell; and three grandchildren. All are from Ottawa.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
