University Bridge Club announces winners of its Sept. 11 game.
Hosts were Al and Carol Smith.
Blue winners were Virginia Williams, first; Marian Lang, second; Henry Wigington, third; Roy Cropp, fourth; and Don Whitaker, fifth.
Pink winners were Aileen Bocquin, first; Edna Galle, second; Mona Langlois, third; Gini Wigington, fourth; and Lois Liebert, fifth.

The Lawrence Mentor’s Duplicate Bridge Club met Sept. 8. Five tables participated in a stratified game that followed a Mitchell movement.
Don Brennaman directed the game.
Playing North-South, Barb Hamilton and Bill Hamilton claimed first place in A and B. Bobbie Figgins and Ann Tams placed second in A and B.
Sitting East-West, Helen Huffman and Bob Huffman claimed first place in A. Don Brennaman and Grant Sutton were second. John Gilbert and Mary Beth Treece took first in B.

Playing the North-South cards, Julia Brooks and Phyllis Brownlee finished in a tie for first place with Lois Clark and Harry Shaffer. Eldon Herd and Glenna Herd were third in A and first in B. Betty Collier and Patt Radford were fourth in A. Betty Spalsbury and Ilse Steinhardt took first in C.
Sitting East West, Yadu Vaidya and Manjiri Vaidya swept first place in A, B and C. Don Daugherty and Harry Talley claimed second in A, B and C. Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks were third in A, B and C. Lynn Hui and Cathy Blumenfeld were fourth in A.

Sitting North-South, Lois Jones and Jeff Nash claimed first place in A. Phyllis Brownlee and Virginia Eddy were second in A and first in B and C. Lynn Hui and Terry Tolar took third in A and second in B.
Playing the East-West cards, John Hickey and Patt Radford finished first in A. Ann Thompson and Grant Sutton placed second in A and first in B and C. Paul Heitzman and Virginia Seaver were third in A. Frances Vogel and Alice Leitch were second in B and C.
