Soybean futures decreased while grain futures finished mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery rose 1 cent to $3.38 1/4 a bushel; December corn fell 2 1/4 cents to $2.16 1/4 a bushel; December oats rose 2 1/4 cents to $1.72 a bushel; November soybeans fell 9 1/4 cents to $5.57 1/4 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures edged higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle rose .72 cent to 86.42 cents a pound; October feeder cattle rose 1.08 cent to $1.1255 a pound; October lean hogs rose 1.35 cent to 70 cents a pound.
