The week: Chung, along with Gary Gardner and Yoo Sung Cha, are vital offensive weapons on a Seabury team having its best days ever. Chung had an extraordinary week, booting an insurance goal in Seabury’s win Friday over Flint Hills, then notching the school’s first-ever hat trick in a 4-0 victory over Atchison. Seabury is 4-3 and has outscored its last two opponents 9-2. Chung has eight goals this season.

The week: Barthol kept the Eagles together and sent them flying to a Baldwin Invitational Tournament title. Barthol, the team’s senior setter, had a great day Saturday in Baldwin, registering 120 assists in helping Wellsville to a 5-1 record and tournament championship. Among the teams Class 3A Wellsville beat was 2003 4A state runner-up Baldwin, and 2003 5A state tournament qualifier Mill Valley.
