Andrew Michael Weir

Shawnee ? Services for Andrew Michael Weir, 19, Shawnee, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Mr. Weir died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, in Douglas County.

He was born April 26, 1985, in Merriam, the son of Matthew and Christine Weir. He graduated with honors from Shawnee Mission North High School and was a freshman at Kansas University.

Mr. Weir worked for Johnson County Parks and Recreation as a counselor. He was a member of several ice hockey teams in Shawnee Mission.

Survivors include his parents, Shawnee; two sisters, Rachel and Nicole; his grandparents, Linda Krause, Shawnee, Gary Wyer, Detroit, and Robert Weir, Overland Park.

Visitation was Monday at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, which is handling arrangements.
