Elva Lehmann
Hiawatha ? Services for Elva Lehmann, 85, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
Mrs. Lehmann died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at Pioneer Ridge Care Center. She was a longtime resident of Hiawatha.
She was born March 8, 1919, in Sabetha, the daughter of Will and Minnie Marti Meyer.
Mrs. Lehmann was a member of Presbyterian Church in Hiawatha.
She married Roy Lehmann on Feb. 16, 1941. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Stan Lehmann, Pittsburg, Calif., and Don Lehmann, Olathe; four daughters, Carolyn Denton, Waynesville, Mo., Karla Strickland, Bossier City, La., Nancy Benson, Lawrence, and Lisa Eidson, Lenexa; a sister, Eileen Lehmann, Sabetha; two brothers, Harlan Meyer, Sabetha, and Harry Meyer, Bountiful, Utah; and four grandchildren.
Three sons, Martin, Steven and Galen Lehmann, died earlier.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
The family suggests memorials to Heart of America Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S. Seventh St., Hiawatha 66434.
