Walter John Leisure

Carriacou, Grenada ? Private services for Walter John Leisure, 60, formerly of Lawrence and Sikeston, Mo., will be at a later date.

Mr. Leisure died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, aboard his sailboat home in Carriacou.

He was born March 22, 1944, in Wichita, the son of Walter Leisure and Glen and Blanche Replogle. He graduated from Lawrence High School and Kansas University.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was formerly employed at Associated Electric Cooperative in New Madrid, Mo.

He married Debbie Jones Milam. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Jennifer Burk, Lilbourn, Mo.; a stepson, Jason Milam, Portageville, Mo.; three stepbrothers, Rex Replogle, Cedaredge, Colo., Ray Replogle, Ely, Minn., and Don Replogle, Waynoka, Okla.; and four stepgrandchildren.

LaQua Brothers Crematorium of St. Georges, Grenada, was in charge of arrangements.
