Dorian and wide receiver Alex Angelotti, both honorable mention All-KVL selections last year. … Chris Shannon also will get plenty of chances at wide receiver, though fourth-year coach Dick Tatro needs to figure out who will replace the graduated Scott Lipovac at quarterback.

Immaculata returns four All-KVL selections from 2003, including Barret Kaufman and Danny McVoy, who received honors on offense and defense . … The Raiders return eight lettermen under new coach Steve Rieck, including two linemen — senior Nick Fisher and junior Nick Kaufman. … Says Rieck, “We have very good skilled position players with a young line. The season could be very good if our starters stay healthy.”

Lansing

The Lions return 17 lettermen from last year’s 5-4 team that just missed the state playoffs. … Lansing coach Bill Pekarek has a small senior class, but expects leadership from wide receivers Neal Watson and Josh Coleman, as well as running back Jeff Collins and lineman Aaron Sexton. … Junior Jeff Slater returns after rushing for 519 yards as a sophomore, and contributing 89 tackles as a linebacker. … Says Pekarek, “We should have some depth at many positions for a change this season.”
