Frank W. Hahner

Mr. Hahner died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.

He was born April 1, 1922, in Olathe, the son of John and Fern Shipman Hahner. He lived in Kansas City before moving in 1975 to Wichita.

Mr. Hahner served in World War II in the South Pacific. He worked at Simmons in Kansas City, and was a farmer for many years. He also worked at Beechcraft in Wichita until he retired in 1992.

He married Margaret Chandler. They divorced. He married Mary Sinn in 1985 in Wichita. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Coleen Burgess, Baldwin, and Mary Longerot, Ottawa; a son, Jeff, Williamsburg; four stepsons, Mike Sinn, Arizona, Fred Sinn, Colorado, and John and Don Sinn, both of Wichita; six grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

A stepdaughter died earlier.
