Bellevue University and College of the Ozarks are the preseason choices to win the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s and women’s basketball championships respectively.

Newman had one first-place vote in the MCAC men’s poll and was second in the voting, followed by College of the Ozarks, Peru State, York College, Oklahoma Wesleyan, Central Christian and Haskell Indian Nations University.

Newman and College of St. Mary tied for runner-up in the women’s poll, followed by Bellevue, Oklahoma Wesleyan, York, Peru State, Central Christian and HINU.
