Reeves lifts Baker to 19-15 victory

? Running back John Reeves rushed for 155 yards and threw a touchdown pass as Baker University edged Culver-Stockton, 19-15, Saturday for its first football road win of the season.

Baker trailed, 15-12, with 13:57 left, but Reeves took a toss from QB Brian Sheppard and threw a 34-yard TD pass to Keenan Ganz, who was all alone for the go-ahead score.

Sheppard threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Pitts in the second quarter and rushed for a five-yard TD in the third quarter.

Baker (4-2 overall, 4-2 Heart of America Conference) had 383 total yards to 327 for Culver-Stockton (2-5, 2-5).


Tabor 24, Ottawa 14

Ottawa — Tabor College scored 24 unanswered points to clip Ottawa at Cook Field.

Ottawa (1-5 overall) took a 7-0 lead with 8:06 left in the first quarter, but Tabor (6-0) scored three touchdowns and a field goal over the next two-plus quarters to win it.

Tabor outgained Ottawa 316 total yards to 265.
