Frances Elizabeth Blake

Funeral services for Frances Elizabeth Todd Blake, 100, Wellsville, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville. Burial will follow in Wellsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Blake died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Wellsville Manor.

She was born July 1, 1904, in Franklin County, the daughter of Francis A. and Della Mitchell Todd.

Mrs. Blake attended schools Miami County and finished high school in Wellsville, after which she moved to Topeka. She worked at Hallmark Cards and as a nurse.

She married Elvie Blair Blake in May 1925. He died in 1962.

Mrs. Blake stayed in Washington until she retired in 1972, and moved back to Kansas to be near her family.

She is survived by a sister, Mae Broers, of Wellsville, and several nieces and nephews.
