Hundreds whack Woodling

A week after going 6-0 in KUsports.com’s Wanna Whack Woodling? contest, Journal-World sports editor Chuck Woodling fell to 3-3 this week.

All but two of the 285 participants tied or beat Woodling’s .500 record, including 71 perfect 6-0 entries. Ryan Waggoner of Lawrence won, correctly predicting Kansas University’s 31-28 victory over Kansas State. Waggoner will receive a KUsports.com T-shirt for his victory.

Solid records were plentiful: 117 people only missed one game; 78 went 4-2; and 19 tied Woodling at 3-3.
