Etta Imogene Smith

? Services for Etta Imogene Smith, 77, Hoisington, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at her home.

She was born March 31, 1927, in Peru, Kan., the daughter of James D. and Clo Julia Ann Farmer Lumley.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker. She had been a Hoisington resident since 1955 after moving from Caney.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hosington.

She married Donald D. Smith on June 5, 1953, in Bartlesville, Okla. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, MD Smith, Osawatomie; a daughter, Janice Oelschlaeger, Lawrence; two brothers, Ivan Lumley, Niotaze, and James Lumley, Dearing; two sisters, Letha Jesseph, Wellington, and Cleotha Fulk, Alaska; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

One grandson died earlier.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
