Clara F. Clark

Memorial services for Clara F. Clark, 77, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Clark died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Detroit, the daughter of Simon and Josephine Lukasak. She was a longtime Lawrence resident.

Mrs. Clark attended the Kansas City Art Institute.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she was active in the Altar Guild for many years. She also was a member of the Kaw Valley Quilters Guild and the Crazy Quilters Group.

She married David V. Clark on Sept. 29, 1951, in Kansas City, Mo. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Patty Ogle, Baldwin; a son, David V. Clark, Houston; two brothers, Peter Lukasak, St. Clair, Mich., and Sam Lukasak, Lakeland, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Lawrence Humane Society or to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, sent in care of the mortuary.
