Venice C. Davis

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? Graveside services for Venice C. Davis, 93, McLouth, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Davis died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Kankakee, Ill., and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1954.

Mrs. Davis was the owner and operator of Style and Charm Beauty Chop in the Argentine area of Kansas City, Kan., for 30 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church in McLouth.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Stallings, McLouth; two sons, Gary Smith, Shawnee, and James Smith, Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
