Clinton Lake’s Bloomington Park will be open to archery deer hunters Nov. 1 through Nov. 30.

To bowhunt in that area, archers will need to obtain a special permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Applications are available at the Clinton Lake visitors center. Deadline for submitting an application is Oct. 15. No late applications will be accepted.

Lake officials will issue permits at a drawing Oct. 16. Selected hunters must attend a pre-hunt meeting at 9 a.m. Oct. 23 at the visitors center.
