Ban reaction
To the editor:
Oct. 4, Lawrence Journal-World: “Smoking ban kicks habit out into public space.”
Hey, city commissioners and all you folks that insisted you had a right to force businesses (those same businesses you’d never enter) to be prepared for your grand entrance, I’d like to remind you of one basic truth: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
You created it; live with it.
Oh, yes. I’m a nonsmoker but I also believe in personal freedom and responsibility.
