UCLA tops UT

? Three days after beating the top team in the nation, Texas couldn’t protect a 17-point lead against an uranked opponent. The No. 4 Longhorns squandered a large first-half lead in a 63-60 loss to UCLA on Sunday.

Noelle Quinn scored the go-ahead basket with 16.7 seconds remaining and finished with 27 points, helping the Bruins rally.

Nikki Blue added 13 points for UCLA (3-1) in the Bruins’ first win over a top-10 team since 1999.

Texas (2-2), which beat Tennessee 74-59 on Thursday, was led by Tiffany Jackson’s 19 points and career-best 15 rebounds.
