  • KU leads the all-time series, 3-1. Nevada won the last meeting, 75-61, on Dec. 21, 2003.
  • Keith Langford needs 10 points to pass Wilt Chamberlain for 18th place on the all-time scoring list. Langford has 1,424 points.
  • Aaron Miles’ next double-assist game will tie him with Jacque Vaughn for most career double-figure assist games at KU with 18. Miles is 42 assists from the Big 12 career record and 53 from the all-time KU mark (804). He has 751.
  • The University of Nevada has an enrollment of 16,000 and is located in Reno, Nev. School colors are navy blue and silver. The team plays its home games at Lawlor Events Center, which seats 11,200.
  • Mark Fox was promoted to head coach at Nevada last June after four seasons as Trent Johnson’s associate head coach. The Garden City native is the first Wolf Pack coach to win his first three games since Glenn Lawlor went 5-0 in 1942-43.
  • Nevada is in its fifth season as a member of the Western Athletic Conference. Nevada won a program-best 13 league games last season, the most since joining the conference in 2000-01. The Wolf Pack won the league title last year, its first conference crown since 1985 when the school was a member of the Big Sky.
  • Nevada, which lost to eventual national runnerup Georgia Tech in the Sweet 16, tied the school record with 25 wins last year. The team lost nine games.
  • Sophomore guard Marcelus Kemp tore his anterior cruciate ligament during the summer and will miss the entire season. Kemp, who played in all 34 games last season, averaged 4.6 points and 1.4 rebounds per game in 2003-04.
