Gibbs not quitting

? Before the Washington Redskins lost 16-7 to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported that Joe Gibbs citing health concerns was considering stepping down as coach, but would remain with the team as general manager.

Gibbs, who turned 64 on Thursday, laughed at the report after the Redskins fell to 3-8 his worst 11-game start in 13 NFL seasons.

Gibbs signed a five-year contract in January to return to the Redskins. He is also the team president and has final say on all personnel matters.
