Hazel Meldon Cobb

Wellsville ? Funeral services for Hazel Meldon Cobb, 92, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Wellsville United Methodist Church in Wellsville. Burial will follow in the Wellsville Cemetery.

Ms. Cobb died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at the Presbyterian Manor in Kansas City, Kan.

She was born Aug. 30, 1912, in Iola, the daughter of Clarence Edward and Delcie Meldon Efinger Hunzicker. She attended country schools in Wellsville and graduated from Wellsville High School in 1931. She graduated from the General Hospital Nursing School in Kansas City, Mo., and worked at the Gardner Hospital for many years before retiring in 1977.

Ms. Cobb was a member of the Wellsville United Methodist Church and the WSCS.

She married Raymond Arthur Cobb on Feb. 22, 1935, in Olathe. He died March 5, 1992.

Survivors include two daughters, Ella Rae Tucker, Kansas City, Kan., and Ruth Ann Sims, Renton, Wash.; a son, Earl Cobb, Edgerton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
