KU volleyball sweeps

? Three Kansas University volleyball players notched double-digit kills as the Jayhawks swept Texas Tech, 30-25, 30-24, 30-25, Wednesday at the United Spirit Arena.

It was the second straight sweep victory for KU (17-11 overall, 8-11 Big 12 Conference).

Texas Tech fell to 10-15 overall and 6-13 in league play.

Ashley Michaels led Kansas with 13 kills on a .458 hitting percentage, and she added a career-high six digs and match-high four block assists.

Josi Lima added 12 kills (.333) to go with her 10 digs and three total blocks. Paula Caten had 11 kills (.346) and three block assists.

Jana Correa contributed six kills and five digs, while Emily Brown had eight digs and five kills. Jill Dorsey had a match-best 21 digs. Andi Rozum had a match-high 42 assists.

KU will play its final regular-season match Saturday against Colorado at 7 p.m. at the Horejsi Family Athletics Center.
