Harry Glen Zacharias
Tonganoxie ? Services for Harry Glen Zacharias, 82, Tonganoxie, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tonganoxie Christian Church. Burial will be in Round Prairie Cemetery in Lowemont.
Mr. Zacharias died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.
He was born July 22, 1922, in Oak Mills, the son of Frank R. and Anna J. Fisher Zacharias.
He worked as a dairy farmer until 1960. He then worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for 22 years. He was a member of Tonganoxie Christian Church and International Order of Odd Fellows in Lancaster. He also served as deacon of Wallula Christian Church in Lansing.
He married Nellie McBride Davies on March 2, 1952, in Atchison. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, William H., Clay Center, Steve D., Leavenworth, and Frank R., Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Doris L. Schoeck, Emporia, and Rhonda J. Owens, Reeds, Mo.; three sisters, Emma Hubartt, St. Petersburg, Fla., Mary Shuffleburger, Lancaster, and Hazel Myers, Houston; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie is in charge of arrangements.
