Kristina and Chris Burton

Kristina Hickman and Chris Burton, both of Kansas City, Mo., were married June 26, 2004, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas with the Rev. Brian Ross officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Rayna Hickman, Eudora. The groom is the son of Sherry Burton, Overland Park, and the late Kenneth Burton. Grandparents of the couple are Lawrence and Rilla Nixon, Eudora; Ted and Dee Clawson, Kansas City, Mo., and Evelyn Hickman, De Soto.

Matron of honor was Michelle Hayse. Bridesmaids were Tangela Moore and Betsy Hickman. Kennedy Burton, daughter of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Best man was Brendan Kelly. Groomsmen were Scott Fox and Peter Hickman.

A reception was given July 31 at Abdallah Shrine Temple in Mission.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in education from Kansas State University and a master’s degree from Kansas University. She is a teacher in Kansas City, Kan. The groom is a service technician for Southwestern Bell.

The couple reside in Kansas City, Mo.

O’Neal-Hertach

Kimberly Rae O’Neal and Justin Matthew Hertach, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 16, 2004, at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Sharon Howell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jim McSwain, Lawrence, and Trish Hampton, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Gerald and Mary Hertach, Hutchinson.

Maid of honor was Heather O’Neal. Best man was Shane Hassler. Bridesmaids were Renee Claborn, Teresa Clark, Shawna Mullins, Staci O’Neal, Jennifer Lemus and Rebecca Morris. Groomsmen were Doug Brown, Justin Dunlap, Byron Flora, Creighton O’Neal, Frank Lemus and Chris Morris.

Junior bridesmaids were Chandler O’Neal and Jessica Lemus. Flower girl was Olivia Lemus. Ring bearer was Brock Morris. Ushers were David Tryon, Logan Wagler and Cris Corey. Readers were Teresa DeLano and Michael Endres. Laura Clark was soloist.

A reception was given at Liberty Hall in Lawrence.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas University. She is a management information analyst for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Lawrence.

The groom is a Hutchinson High School graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from KU. He is president of Salt City Mortgage LLC.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Robison-Coble

Christy Robison and James Coble, both of Lawrence, were married Aug. 29, 2004, at Apple Valley Farm near Perry with Gary Thomas officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rodney Robison, Cottonwood Falls, and Sandra Robison, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Neba Coble, Perry, and the late Jerry Dale Coble.

Matron of honor was Jaquelyn Lanarez. Best man was David Hayes. Bridesmaids were Jerri Billinger and Kimberly King. Groomsmen were Rodney Coble and Kris Smart. Joshua McCarty, the bride’s son, was ring bearer. Flower girl was Breanne Hall.

A reception was given at Apple Valley Farm.

The bride is employed at NCS Pearson. She has a cosmetology license. The groom works at Kansas University in special services.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
