Patrick Roth of Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst High and David Cosel of Monument, Colo., have signed golf letters of intent with Kansas University.

Cosel, who played at Palmer High, won the Air Force Academy PGA Junior Series event, the Colorado Section PGA Junior State Championship and the FCWT-Southern Colorado Junior Shootout.

Roth has earned seven top-10 finishes in nationally ranked tournaments sponsored by the AJGA, PGA, CJGA and the Kansas Golf Assn.

Roth also was named to the All-Collegiate Preview Series Team by the KGA for the third consecutive year.
