Michigan slips past Buffaloes

? Dion Harris scored a career-high 24 points, and Lester Abram added 12 to lead Michigan to a 69-60 victory over Colorado on Wednesday in the second round of the Preseason NIT.

Courtney Sims also had 10 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Wolverines, who advance to the semifinals of the tournament to play the winner of the Arizona-Wright State game.

Richard Roby scored 18 points, and Marcus Hall had 16 for the Buffaloes.

Michigan, which is looking to become the first team to win the postseason NIT and preseason NIT the following season, led from start to finish.
