Private inurnment services for Harry Lee Parker Sr., 58, Lawrence, will be Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Parker died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at his home.

He was born Dec. 5, 1945, in Spokane, Wash., the son of Leland Edward and Virginia June Vantuyl Parker.

Mr. Parker served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1968 for two tours of duty in Korea. He worked for the city of Lawrence Water Department for several years and owned Harry's Auto in Lawrence for several years.

He married Peggy K. Atwell. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include five sons, Larry W. White, Van Buren, Ark., Harry L. Parker Jr., Fort Smith, Ark., and Robert D. Parker, Donald J. Parker and Michael R. Parker, all of Lawrence; a daughter, Peggy S. Trout, Van Buren, Ark.; a brother, Christopher D., Lawrence; a sister, Donna L. Licthe, Mendenhall, Miss.; and 17 grandchildren.

A daughter, Pauletta Rene White, died earlier.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
