Howard G. Palmer

Baldwin ? Graveside services with military honors for Howard G. Palmer, 88, Olivette, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Oakwood Cemetery in Baldwin.

Mr. Palmer died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Olivette, Mo.

He was born May 19, 1916, in Leavenworth, the son of Harold and Edith Palmer.

Mr. Palmer served in the U.S. Navy, where he attained the rank of commander.

His wife, Viola, whom he married April 6, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., died earlier.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Catanzaro, Florissant, Mo.; and a sister, Helen Cooper, Texas.

The family suggests memorials to Shriners Children’s Hospital, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence.
