Ellen M. Fabac

Mass of Christian burial for Ellen M. Fabac, 79, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Fabac died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at Select Specialty Hospital in Overland Park.

She was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Joseph and Mildred Stangier Bellotti. She was a graduate of Immaculata High School in Leavenworth. She moved to Lawrence in 1961.

Mrs. Fabac was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

She married Nicholas P. Fabac on June 3, 1960, in Kansas City, Kan. He died Sept. 14, 1994.

Survivors include three daughters, Connie Yother, Lawrence, Marianne Means, Mt. Hope, and Loretta Dobbins, Suwanee, Ga.; a son, Charles “Chuck” Fabac, Reston, Va.; a sister, Gloria Fulton, Overland Park; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the mortuary.
