Soybean futures advanced while grain futures finished mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 4 1/4 cents to $3.04 1/2 a bushel; December corn remained unchanged at $1.98 a bushel; December oats rose 2 cents to $1.42 1/4 a bushel; January soybeans rose 5 cents to $5.10 1/2 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell .55 cent to 82.47 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.10 cent to $1.0037 a pound; December lean hogs fell .20 cent to 71.90 cents a pound.
