Soybean futures dropped while grain futures finished mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 2 3/4 cents to $3.03 a bushel; December corn fell 1 1/2 cent to $1.97 1/2 a bushel; December oats rose 3/4 cent to $1.40 3/4 a bushel; January soybeans fell 12 1/4 cents to $5.06 1/4 a bushel.

Pork futures advanced while beef futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle fell 1.30 cent to 82.82 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 2.17 cents to $1.022 a pound; December lean hogs rose 2 cents to 73.85 cents a pound.
