Harry Richard Smith

Olathe ? Services for Harry Richard Smith, 73, Olathe, will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Countryside Baptist Church in Olathe. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Wamego Cemetery.

Mr. Smith died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born Jan. 15, 1931, in Wilder, the son of Harry and Stella Schloop Smith.

Mr. Smith was a pastor in Baptist churches in Lawrence for seven and a half years, Wamego for 24 years and McLouth for two years.

He married Lois Arlene Quinlan. She died earlier. He married Lenora Foster. She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Judith Lashley, Michelle Smith and Jeanette Chestnut; two sons, Jim and Steven; three brothers; three sisters; and 13 grandchildren.

A son, Timothy Richard, also died earlier.

The family suggests memorials to Harry R. Smith Memorial Fund, to be used for various missions, sent in care of First National Bank of Olathe, 444 E. Santa Fe, Olathe 66061.
