Deanna ‘Dee-zer’ Moralez

Topeka ? Services for Deanna “Dee-zer” Moralez, 62, Topeka, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in north Topeka. Cremation is planned.

Ms. Moralez died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, in Topeka.

She was born Nov. 25, 1941, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Harvey A. and Irene Jamieson Striplin.

Ms. Moralez was a waitress at Gammons Restaurant. She was a member of First Christian Church.

She married Joe Moralez. They divorced.

Survivors include four daughters, Carmen Tibbits, Tecumseh, Debi Moralez, Hutchinson, and Marla Moralez-Franklin and Juanita Moralez, both of Topeka; a son, Joe Moralez, Topeka; two sisters and a brother, all of Hutchinson; and 12 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
