Hadl

Bob and Ramona Hadl, Aurora, Mo., formerly of Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an outdoor party today at their home. Hosts of the party will be their children.

Bobby L. Hadl and Ramona J. Belding were married May 28, 1954, in Lawrence.

Their children are Randy Allen Riggs, Tulsa, Okla.; Bobby Lee Hadl, Jonesboro, Ark.; Billy Hadl, Jonesboro, Ark.; and Monett Peister, Lake City, Ark.

Atchison

Harold and Dixie Atchison, rural Overbrook, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 5.

Harold Atchison and Dixie Zerbe were married June 5, 1954, in Ottawa.

Their children and spouses are Sharon and Earl Lee Tatum, Cleveland, Ark.; Al and Jana Atchison, Topeka; and Leonard and Marcia Atchison, Overland Park. They have five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Congrove

Jim and Dorothy Congrove, Lawrence, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at Grant Township Community Center.

They were married June 7, 1964, at the North Baptist Church in Ottawa.

Their children are Tim and Sara Congrove, Kerri and Steve Weber and Andy Congrove. They have seven grandchildren.

Getter

Russell and Mary Getter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 16 at their home with family and friends.

They were married in 1954 in Richland Center, Wis. Russell is retired from Kansas University, and Mary is retired from the Kmart Distribution Center.

They have six children: Barb Getter, Denver; Roxanne Brendel, Louisville, Ky.; Denise Berkley, Lawrence; Scott Getter, Lawrence; Laurie Michels, Virginia Beach, Va.; and Bob Getter, Corona del Mar, Calif. The couple also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
