Topeka ? Ryan Robinson was the only Lawrence High tennis player to win his first-round match Monday at the Class 6A regional meet.

But after defeating Leavenworth’s Sean Zamora, 8-1, Robinson was eliminated by top-seeded Scott Bond of Topeka High, 8-0.

The Lions’ Tommy Johnson lost to Olathe South’s Brad Williams, 8-6; the doubles duo of Noah Welch and Sam Goodell lost to Free State’s Jason Kroge and Mark Whittemore, 8-5; and Severance and Justin Isbell lost to second-seeded pair from Leavenworth, 8-4.
