Prairie Nights
By Sally Jadlow
Sunset whispers good-by
to daylight.
Dusk gathers dreams
from stars
on the rim of space
to be delivered
to sleeping eyes
who rest
on prairie fields.
— Sally Jadlow lives in Kansas City and is the author of “Sonflower Seeds,” a collection of poetry and short stories.
