Margaret Grace Bol
Services for Margaret Grace Bol, 82, Lawrence, are pending and will be announced by Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
Mrs. Bol died Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 26, 1921, in Elmont, the daughter of Ray E. and Nancy Wyatt Doel.
Mrs. Bol graduated from Seaman High School in Topeka in 1940.
She worked as a nurse’s assistant at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 19 years and retired in 1983.
Mrs. Bol was a member of North Lawrence Christian Church for more than 20 years.
She married George F. Flowers on Aug. 7, 1940. They later divorced. She married Theodore Bol on Aug. 1, 1971, in Lawrence. He died Aug. 4, 1971.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Flowers, Lawrence, and Bonnie Farley, Kansas City, Kan.; an adopted daughter, Arlene Harbaugh, Tonganoxie; three sons, Thornton Flowers, San Diego, George Flowers, Navarre, and William Flowers, Barnes; a brother, Glen Doel, Pacific Palisades, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Assn., sent in care of the mortuary.
