An Overland Park man was injured Monday night in a one-car accident south of Eudora.

Lewis Waterhouse, 19, was flown by air ambulance to a Kansas City area hospital from the scene of the crash, which was on N 900 Road, just west of Douglas County Road 1061. Waterhouse’s condition was unavailable late this morning.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s department says Waterhouse was heading west when he lost control of his car and struck a pole.

The sheriff’s department is still investigating the cause.
